Joseph Saunders

Joseph Saunders is an experienced Studio Technician who supports multiple classrooms and concentrations at Montserrat including Photography, Video, & Film; Printmaking; Painting; and Book Arts. He runs the equipment checkout for P/V/F and provides training on printmaking, letterpress, and Risograph printers. Joseph also is in charge of the life models. He has a vast knowledge of both equipment and techniques.

When not at Montserrat, Joseph is a photographer and artist whose work has been exhibited across the country from New York to Los Angeles and across New England. Most of his work consists of street photography and documentary photography. Joseph has always been interested in the fleeting moments of the mundane and the whispers of the in-between moments when photographing. He mainly works traditionally in black-and-white film in the darkroom.
