This Fall, Montserrat College of Art is launching two new BFA concentrations:
Games, Toys, and Play and Writing & Visual Narratives!
Games, Toys, and Play is your guide to all aspects of fun and play, including gameplay, play theory, digital/physical prototyping and packaging/marketing.
From video games and AR and VR; to tabletop and card games; to plushies, toys, figurines and puppets, students learn to design and fabricate worlds, characters, artifacts, activities, and experiences for fun, sensory therapy, education, and community building.
Writing and Visual Narratives is dedicated to storytelling. Courses on graphic novels, storyboarding, and creative writing will support students in developing complex stories as printed media and moving images.
