Julianna Thibodeaux
Adjunct Assistant Professor / Writing Tutor
“An interdisciplinary exploration of literature and the arts across cultures can help students to see themselves and their work as part of a larger framework.”As a writer and visual artist, Julianna Thibodeaux creates at the intersection of nurture and the natural world. Her fiction, poetry, essays, and visual art are a means of exploring nurturing and mothering in a society that often devalues both, while also addressing the nurturing qualities of nature and its own need for nurture. As an art critic and arts journalist, her goal is to contribute meaningfully to the public discourse on art and its essential role in a vibrant culture.
