Recent Alumna Ruby Martinez Interns with Boston Opera Collaborative

Recent graduate, Ruby Martinez ’12 just began an internship last week with the Boston Opera Collaborative!
“When I taught Ruby in a Comics Class in spring 2011, her passion for opera was apparent from her art,” said Instructor Greg Cook, who played an instrumental part to help Martinez find an internship that suited her best!
Martinez is working back stage moving props and scenery during performances. During rehearsals, she is also sketching the performers from a “fly on the wall” perspective.
“She loves opera and is thrilled to have this opportunity to be involved with its production,” said Montserrat’s Director of Internships, Joan Milnes.
