Games, Toys, and Play

Do you collect plushies or figurines, love tabletop games, or get lost for hours in a virtual world? Do you like making things? You can turn this combination into a career path through Montserrat’s new Games, Toys, & Play program.

The Games, Toys, & Play concentration encompasses all aspects of fun and play, including gameplay, play theory, and digital/physical prototyping and packaging/marketing. Incorporating video games and augmented reality/virtual reality, tabletop and card games, plushies, toys, figurines, costumes, and puppets, students learn to design and fabricate worlds, characters, artifacts, activities, and experiences for fun, sensory therapy, education, and community building.
