Hours needed each week:  Fridays 8:00am-3:30pm during the semester with 5-10 hours of planning before the start of the semester

Term: Fall 2026

Pay: $15/hr 

Summary: Teaching Assistant for the course COS in Spring 2026, Fridays 8:00-3:30pm with additional before the semester starts.  

Responsibilities:

  • Must be available Fridays 8:00am-3:30pm during the semester with 5-10 hours of planning before the start of the semester
  • Work with the Faculty with the delivery of the course content and assisting students with assignments as needed.
  • Prepare the instructional space for classes on a weekly basis, making sure the necessary course materials and equipment are prepared, the classroom is organized and set-up for instruction; clean-up classroom space and materials as needed at end of class.
  • Help prepare and manage the course Discord and other course materials.
  • Assist students with learning and troubleshooting processes and projects. In particular with sewing and fabrication.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50 lbs and move tables and  shuttle things on cart between work spaces
