Title: Digital Tools Peer Tutor

Department:  Foundations

Hours needed each week:  6

Expected Duration of Job: Fall 2026

Pay: $15.00 

Summary Statement: Assist students with the use of Adobe software outside of class.

 

Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Assist students with the use of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or Premiere Pro (peer-to-peer tutoring style). 
  • Occasionally visit classes to assist with software instruction.
  • Work with the Peer Tutor Coordinator to understand current assignments to better assist students with their coursework.
  • Work with the Peer Tutor Coordinator to collect and monitor student experiences with the Peer Tutor program, including sharing student experiences, encouraging students to complete surveys, and helping to collect data to improve the program.

 

Requirements:

  • Desire to support fellow students and enhance their software skills
  • Patience when working with students of varying skill levels
  • Excellent communication skills

Working Conditions/Physical Demands: 

Must be comfortable using computers for long periods of time.
