Curator Talk on the Life and Work of Maurice Sendak
Thursday, October 29, 11-12pm, 23 Essex St. Room H101
Sunday at the Nut House celebrates a brief period in the development of three artists who came together with the renowned artist Maurice Sendak on Sundays in Ridgefield, Connecticut, in 2004-7 to draw from the model. They were brought together by Sendak, who wanted an occasional break from working long hours in his studio. He gave Jonathan Weinberg the task of forming the drawing group.
