Counseling Services

At Montserrat, counseling services are provided with an emphasis on prevention and wellness, and on supporting students’ emotional, intellectual and creative development.

Counseling can cover a wide range of topics, which might include: the transition to college, healthy relationships, anxiety, depression, academic stress, time management, roommate disputes, managing unhealthy habits, grief and loss, and pandemic-related challenges. Students are welcome to contact Elisabeth for free, confidential, short-term individual counseling or for a referral to an off-campus treatment provider if recommended, or if preferred by the student.

YouMatter@Montserrat

Outside school hours, or if preferred at any time, all Montserrat students have access to our free, 24/7, mental health support and referral service, YouMatter@Montserrat. Students can call 833-434-1217 to access the support line.
