Alum and Instructor Michael Aghahowa Presents Graduate Thesis in Boston
Montserrat alum and painting instructor Michael Aghahowa is showcasing four new paintings as part of an exhibition at MassArt x SoWa in Boston!
This spring, Aghahowa will receive his Masters of Fine Arts from Massachusetts College of Art and Design. He is showcasing his work alongside six other members of the 2022 cohort. Aghahowa’s contribution includes his 2021 piece “The Numbers Game” and three new paintings entitled “Parts to a Whole” (one of which is pictured).
Curated by MassArt Art Museum Executive Director Lisa Tung, MassArt MFA Thesis 2022 will be on view at MassArt x SoWa through May 22, with an opening reception on Friday, May 6, 2022, 5-9pm at MassArt x Sowa.
The MFA candidates, including Aghahowa, will present public artist talks on Friday, May 20, 2022 at 1:30pm EST via Zoom.
MassArt x SoWa is located at 460C Harrison Avenue, Suite C-08 in Boston.
