Montserrat College of Art’s Summer Institutes provide K–12 teachers, college professors, and graduate-level educators a chance to step away from the front of the classroom and return to their own artistic practice. Join a community of makers from across the country to develop new skills, explore unique cultures, and earn professional credits.

Professional Development (PDP)
We understand the needs of working educators. Our programs are designed to provide:
- Skill Acquisition: Learn new techniques and mediums to bring back to your students.
- Creative Immersion: Dedicate uninterrupted time to your personal studio practice.
- Personalized Credits: We offer a personalized approach to earning Professional Development Points (PDP) for members of your school district. We are happy to work with your administration to ensure your time with us meets your local requirements.
Whether you are looking for a local retreat or an overseas adventure, our programs offer an intimate, faculty-led environment where your growth as an artist is the priority.
Program Cancellation Policy
The College reserves the right to cancel our programs for any reason, in which case a full refund of tuition and fees will be issued. Montserrat is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design and by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, Inc.
