Residence Halls

Residence Halls

Montserrat College of Art offers apartment-style living within walking distance of all academic buildings, other residence halls, and downtown Beverly. Our students enjoy the independence of apartment-style residence halls and benefit from trained Resident Assistants who help to support community development, safety, and security on campus. Campus Life professional staff live on campus and supervise the Resident Assistants (R.A.) who live in the residence halls. Our staff continually works to maintain a safe and harmonious community.

Most of our housing consists of double occupancy rooms; however, there are some triple occupancy rooms as well. The number of students in each apartment varies depending on the size of the unit. On average, student housing accommodates 4–8 students per unit. All apartments feature a common living space, a bathroom, and a full kitchen. All apartments are furnished with beds, kitchen tables, chairs, dressers, and either closets or armoires.

“The uniqueness of the houses on campus is amazing. They feel much cozier and homier than a dorm room, and I can gladly call it a home.”
