Position: Social Media & Marketing Coordinator
Category/Type: Part-time, Non-Exempt (Hybrid)
Salary Range: $20/hr (approximately 20 hours per week)

OVERVIEW / POSITION SUMMARY
Art Resource Collaborative for Kids (ARCK) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to transforming the lives of students by integrating arts into education. We strive to cultivate creativity, critical thinking, and empathy in young minds through innovative programs that combine art with academic learning.
We are seeking a part-time Social Media & Marketing Coordinator to help share our vision of re-imagining education. This role involves executing our social media strategy, creating content, and driving digital marketing efforts. The ideal candidate is a creative, strategic thinker with a passion for arts education and experience in engaging diverse audiences through social media and marketing.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create, write, and schedule engaging social media posts and content across all platforms.
- Enhance social media engagement by monitoring social media channels, responding to inquiries, and interacting with followers and partners to foster a vibrant online community.
- Track and analyze social media performance metrics with the Director of Operations to support community outreach efforts and inform strategy adjustments.
- Collaborate with the program team to develop compelling visual and written content, including graphics, videos, blog posts, and newsletters.
- Ensure consistency in ARCK’s brand voice, style, and messaging across all content.
- Support the planning and promotion of ARCK’s events, including the Annual Gala, Boston Marathon Block Party, Creative Catalysts at Work, and smaller stewardship/community events.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of experience in social media management, digital marketing and graphic design, or a related role, preferably within a nonprofit or arts education organization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and creativity.
- Experience with Google Suite, Canva, and Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop) is required; experience with video editing, Squarespace, and Constant Contact a plus.
- Ability to work independently and show initiative in completing projects and tasks.
- Team player, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work remotely, with access to a computer and camera for video conferencing.
- Passionate about ARCK’s mission, and have an interest in arts education, and nonprofit work.
