Before our first campers arrive, the Summer at Brooks team comes together for a week-long, in-person training designed to build connection, confidence, and community. This comprehensive onboarding covers safety procedures, program goals, and best practices for supporting every participant. It’s also a chance to get to know your colleagues and start the season feeling prepared and inspired.

Once the summer begins, we hold weekly staff meetings every Monday to review camp operations, share updates, and celebrate successes. In addition, group coordinators lead regular team meetings focused on planning, collaboration, and ensuring that each camper’s individual needs are met.

Our leadership team maintains an open-door policy throughout the summer. We encourage staff to reach out to the director, supervisors, or coordinators at any time with questions, ideas, or concerns. Open communication and mutual support are essential to creating an exceptional experience—for both our campers and our team.
