Undergraduate Intern
Eligibility: Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program or recently graduated (within 6 months)
Stipend for Completion: $400
Time Commitment: Minimum 10 hours per week for a minimum of 8 weeks, may be partly remote
Areas of Focus and General ResponsibilitiesInternship projects will be tailored to the applicant’s skills, tier level, and the current needs of the James. All interns are expected to help generally in these areas of focus. Please select which areas of focus are of interest to you.
Administration & Operations
Assisting with day-to-day administrative tasks, including database entry and correspondence. Supporting volunteer coordination and scheduling.
Programs & EventsAiding in the planning, promotion, and execution of arts events (concerts, exhibits, readings). On-site support during programs, including setup, breakdown, and audience services.
Art & OutreachAssist with hanging exhibitions and developing exhibition text. Assisting with the creation of marketing materials (e.g., social media content, flyers, press releases).
Library & Archival (Graduate & Undergraduate focus)Assisting with collection management, cataloging, and shelving. Supporting archival projects related to James history and local history.
