IT Operations & Systems Support Assistant (Part-Time, Summer)

Position Summary 

Montserrat College of Art is seeking a part-time IT Operations & Systems Support Assistant to support core technology operations during the summer. This role focuses on improving the accuracy, organization, and reliability of IT systems across campus. 

Schedule: 15–20 hrs/week 

Dates: June–August 2026 (flexible) 

Extension: Potential continuation into Fall based on performance 

Location: Beverly, MA 

Reports to: Director of IT

Key Responsibilities 

  • Maintain and validate device inventory (Mac/Windows) 
  • Audit printers and build campus map 
  • Support device lifecycle cleanup and reassignment 
  • Assist with identity/group organization 
  • Create documentation and knowledge base content 
  • Support endpoint systems (Jamf, PDQ) 
  • Contribute to structured IT projects 

Qualifications 

Required: Strong attention to detail, organization, basic computer skills, ability to work independently

Preferred: Interest in IT, spreadsheets, networking basics, prior help desk experience
