REMAINS

Documentation of live art, performance work, brought to life by the marks we make with our bodies. The traces of the human body show ownership of a time and place, and makes the statement, “I existed here”. Narrative in this piece is just as important as the physical impressions. The urge for natural colors, textures, and figures inspired this series of work. Large scale paintings made on photo paper with tempera, shaving cream, and tacky glue.
