The Improbable Places Poetry Tour, hosted by Colleen Michaels of Montserrat College of Art, features game-related poems for a most unique reading event. On April 9th, Beverly’s boardgame restaurant and bar, THE CASTLE, will host a night of poetry and play. Doors open at 6:00 for those who want dinner or game time, and the reading begins at 7:00 The reading is free and open to the public.
Started in 2010, the Improbable Places Poetry Tour has brought poetry to unlikely places like bike shops, Laundromats, tattoo parlors, and a power plant on Boston’s north shore. We will roll the dice on a new season and pack the room Jenga style with players, readers, and poems about the games people play.
