Mx. Media: An Art Education Practicum Show

Mx. Media is a showcase presented by Mx. Aoife Bergeron (they/them/él) and Mx. Finnley Lewis (they/them/él), celebrating their experience as student teachers and the work of their students over the course of their student teaching practicum. Mx. Bergeron and Mx. Lewis helped to develop their students’ foundational artistic skills through a wide array of mediums, including linoleum printmaking, charcoal, colored pencils, clay, and fiber arts. This showcase is a reflection not only of the work of the students, but the diligent effort of both teachers as they navigate not only full-time teaching, but the experience of being visibly nonbinary in the classroom. Mx. Media represents the diversity of our learners and the educators who work with them.
