Salary range: $15/hour

Summary: The Bower Front Desk Attendant acts as the point of contact for all visitors to Montserrat’s creative hub and the artist studios upstairs. This role is a blend of hospitality and information, you’ll be greeting guests, helping folks find their destination, monitoring building activity, and keeping The Bower remains a welcoming, safe environment for students, artists, tenants, and community members. This position is perfect for a student who is personable, observant, and enjoys being at the center of a vibrant creative space

Responsibilities:

Hospitality — welcome guests and provide information for visitors

Security — keep an eye on general activity in the building

Wayfinding — know the building layout, where artists/business are to direct visitors

Admin/operations — assist with clerical work / manage data (visitors/attendees)

Social Media — manage the social media for the building including engaging with artists and businesses for profiles, news, and upcoming events.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands: Ability to lift under 30 lbs and periodically walking around
