Facilities Crew
Department: Facilities
Status: Hours Needed Each Week: Approximately 15 hours per week, Monday–Friday (flexible schedule within 8 a.m.–4 p.m.) Expected Duration of Job: Semester by semester basis, can work the full year
Salary range: $15.00/hour
The Facilities Crew supports the daily operations, upkeep, and improvement of campus buildings and grounds. Under the supervision of the Director of Facilities, crew members assist with a range of hands-on projects to maintain a safe, functional, and attractive campus environment. Responsibilities include tracking inventory, organizing supplies, and collecting data on campus facilities and equipment, along with hands-on work such as painting, landscaping, moving furniture, cleaning, and supporting construction and cleanup projects.
Requirements:
- Must be available for the rest of fall semester (through December)
- Ability to lift 40 lbs or more and perform physical tasks safely
- Must be able to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
- Must follow all standard safety codes and practices
- Attention to detail and willingness to assist with inventory and data collection
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team

Additional Information:
- A valid driver’s license is preferred but not required
- Prior experience in facilities, maintenance, landscaping, or a similar role is helpful but not required
- Students must be in good academic, financial, and social standing with the college
- All necessary tools and safety equipment will be provided
- Training on equipment use and safety procedures will be conducted before starting work
