Creative Ventures Fellow

Salary range: Pay: $15.00

Summary Statement: Working with the Director of Creative Enterprises, the Creative Ventures Fellow will support and mentor student entrepreneurs at Montserrat. The position is a unique training and collaborative opportunity to gain hands-on experience in business development, marketing, and project management within a creative environment. The Fellow will act as a liaison and partner, helping students transform their creative ideas into viable businesses. 

Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Work directly with the Director of Creative Enterprises to support the development and launch of student-led businesses and projects
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities for creative ventures
  • Assist in developing business plans, marketing strategies, and financial models for various projects
  • Provide logistical and administrative support for workshops, events, and other programming related to entrepreneurship
  • Serve as a key liaison between the Creative Enterprises office and the student body

Working Conditions/Physical Demands: Lift and carry materials up to 20 lbs. Related to events, workshops, or setting up displays. Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods while working on a computer or assisting with events. Manual dexterity is required for tasks such as using a keyboard, handling art supplies, or organizing documents. Mobility to navigate the campus and various studio spaces to meet with students and faculty.
