Creative Design Associate

Status: Hours needed each week: 5-15 Expected Duration of Job: Fall 2025

Salary range: $15.00 / hour

Summary Statement: The Montserrat Design Center is seeking creative, detail-oriented students to join the design team. With real client work, this position offers extensive hands-on experience producing professional work for a wide variety of projects. Designers will bring client briefs to life through design solutions that are practical, polished, and portfolio-ready.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Produce high-quality design work (print, digital, branding, event materials, social media graphics, etc.) based on project briefs.
• Translate client needs—delivered through faculty/staff leads—into effective design outcomes.
• Collaborate with a small team of fellow designers and project managers to deliver consistent results.
• Manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
• Maintain organized project files and follow professional design standards.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands: Work is primarily computer-based, may involve light lifting. Conducted in Montserrat’s Design studio, in a professional yet creative atmosphere.
