In “If You Give the Brain a Puzzle,” faculty-member Aly Pierce talks you through her process of exploring the inner world through generative prompts and how they can function as puzzles for the brain. She provides examples of exercises and the poems they created, demonstrating how they aided in the writing of her debut poetry collection The Visible Planets, self-published collection The Deathwish Catalogue, and co-written chapbook Cryptids.
