Ballyvaughan, Ireland
Montserrat’s program in Ballyvaughan, Ireland is a four-week intensive comprised of two courses (one liberal arts course and one studio course) focusing on traditional storytelling and narrative art. The program is based at Burren College of Art in Ballyvaughan, County Clare, Ireland. The trip includes hikes, spending a night on one of the Aran Islands, a trip into Galway, and visits with Irish storytellers and singer-songwriters. Students enrolled in the program take two classes for a total of 6 studio credits.
Dates: June 13–July 12, 2025
Program cost: $7,000
