Continuing Education and Lifelong Learning (CELL) Project Manager
Reports to: Dean of Academic Affairs
Status: Part-time, Non-Exempt, 20 hours per week (onsite or hybrid)
Salary range: $26/hour
Summary: The Continuing Education and Lifelong Learning Project Manager helps develop and manage new programming in Continuing Education. This position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. The Program Manager will work directly with the Dean of Academic Affairs and closely with the entire Academic Affairs Office as well as with faculty, staff, and students.
Major Functional Areas and Description of Duties:
- Works with the Dean of Academic Affairs to maintain and expand the existing continuing education programming.
- Works with the Dean of Academic Affairs to identify instructors for pre-college and continuing education programs.
- Manages budgets for all CELL programs
- Works with campus partners to identify program needs, and schedule and manage personnel and facilities
- Manages calendar for continuing education.
- In collaboration with the Creative Director, helps develop collateral for advertising and marketing all programs
Qualifications: (Experience, Skills & Abilities)
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience is required, preferably in a higher education environment
- 2-4 years of project management experience is required
- Experience in online learning environments is a plus
- Marketing experience is also helpful

- Excellent verbal and written skills are essential

Office and Administrative Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office/Google Suites
- Basic design experience is a plus

- Excellent organizational skills and ability to accomplish multiple tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines

Working Conditions/Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift heavy materials (30lb boxes)
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
Special Notations or Conditions of Employment:
- May occasionally need to work during weekends, evenings, and College events
