Rob teaches printmaking and 2-D design. He has exhibited extensively in the U.S. and in Massachusetts at the Rose Art Museum, the DeCordova Museum, the Danforth Museum of Art, the Williams College Museum of Art, the Berkshire Museum, the Art Complex Museum, and the Worcester and Fitchburg Art Museums. Recent Solo Exhibitions include Global Signatures at the Danforth Museum, Framingham, MA (2006); Icons for a New Century (with Matt Ernst), Housatonic Museum of Art, Bridgeport, CT (2005); Billboards, Oil Storage Tanks, and other Global Signatures, HallSpace, Boston (2005); It’s a Big World, LaFontaine Fine Arts Center, Mount Wachusett Community College, Gardner, MA (2003); Works from the Witness and Road Ritual Series, Area Gallery, University of Southern Maine, Portland (2002).

He has received a Massachusetts Artist Foundation Fellowship in Painting, three Ford Foundation Grants, a Yale-Norfolk Fellowship, an Artist in Residence Grant, Burren College of Art, a Ture Bengtz Memorial Prize, First Prize, 2nd National Monoprint and Monotype Exhibition, a Cornelia Faculty Fellowship and a Luz Dorrien Faculty Award. His work can be found in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art, NYC, Housatonic Museum of Art, Danforth Museum of Art, Art Complex Museum, Boston Public Library Print Collection, Trenton StateCollege, NJ. He is listed in Who’s Who in America (2000-), Who’s Who in the World (2000-), and Who’s Who Among American Teachers (2002-). Rob previously taught at Yale University, the School of the Worcester Art Museum, University of Lowell, and Smith College.
