Georgia Bolender in an Illustrator and Storyboard Artist with a storytelling obsession. She is fascinated by the languages of film, comics, and animation, and spends most of her time breaking apart film plots, pouring over screenwriting literature, and having several-hour-long discussions about ten-minute cartoon. Georgia is intensely passionate about the imaginary physics of plot, themes, and characters. She seeks to educate storytellers of all levels of experience how to think critically about their messages, their personal visual language, and the greater effect stories can have on our culture.
Originally from a rural area of Rhode Island, Georgia had quite an eclectic work background-including product design, professional proofreading, and stage magic. After graduating with a BFA in Animation and Interactive Media from Montserrat of College of Art, she moved to Atlanta, GA to storyboard for Floyd County Productions (Archer, Chozen)and designs characters for Bento Box Entertainment (The Awesomes). Now back in Beverly, MA, she is currently both an adjunct instructor and a remote storyboard artist for various animation production studios.
