Graphic Design/Digital Studio Assistant Internship

Job Title: Studio Assistant (Part-time)
Location: Labor in Vain/Mallie Loring Pratt Studio, Ipswich, MA
Hours: Approx. 15 hours a week, May-July
Compensation: TBD, commensurate with experience and skills

Seeking a creative, flexible, and highly motivated studio assistant to join our collaborative studio
space in Ipswich, MA. This is a part-time position supporting one or potentially two professional
painters. If you’re someone who enjoys both hands on and digital work in a dynamic, art-filled
environment, this could be a great fit!

Key Responsibilities:
– Assist with stretching canvases and assembling frames
– Maintain and organize studio materials and supplies
– Update e-commerce sites and assist with sales and marketing
– Assist with marketing for events and workshops
– Help with exhibition prep for two summer shows (one in June, one late July)
– Artwork packing and shipping
– Occasionally assist during events or open studios

Ideal candidate has training in the arts and is organized and self-motivated. Photo editing,
familiarity with google suite, shopify, squarespace would be hugely helpful.
