Production Internship

Looking for an aspiring intern, who’s on a production track and eager to gain experience and skills in a full-service video production environment. Explore all aspects of production, including pre-production, studio and live production, and post-production, while assisting with production equipment maintenance and management.

The right intern will be highly organized and detail-oriented. The ability to take direction, multi-task, solve problems creatively, and work in-person, on location, and remotely is important. You’ll get hands-on experience and report to both the supervising Director of Internships and a Production Staff Mentor.

Job Description:

• Support the production staff by picking up, prepping, transporting, staging, and returning rental and in-house equipment.
• Assist with upkeep of the equipment room space and storage, and in-house studio.
• Perform as-needed production assistant duties on location and studio shoots.
• Assist with maintenance and repairs of cameras, lenses, audio, and G&E equipment.
• Help as needed with pre-production activities and post-production projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree – enrolled in or a recent graduate with Film Production or related studies
• Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills
• Ability to lift 50lbs unassisted
• Valid driver’s license and a willingness to drive small trucks and vans
• Enthusiastic, flexible, with a positive attitude
