Paid Internship with the Fenway Alliance. Part-time: 15 – 20 hours a week – $18 an hour. The ideal candidate for this internship program will be a strong writer and an independent worker comfortable with learning on the job. Experience in event planning and document design a plus. The main project will be supporting the organization and logistics for Alliance programs and events, including FACES/Fenway Alliance Celebrates Exceptional Spirit gala on April 8, 2025 and the annual free art & culture day Opening Our Doors on Indigenous People’s Day, October 13, 2025. The internship will be primarily to support the Co-Executive Directors on various initiatives. The ability to work for a small organization in a flexible, fast-paced environment is critical. Must be a team player and able to work well under pressure. Internship will provide you with knowledge and experience in how a small non-profit operates from soup to nuts and will offer wonderful opportunities for networking with our Fenway Cultural District educational and cultural institutions. Reports to Co-Executive Directors. This is a remote position, however we would require the intern to support in-person programs and events. This internship is a one year appointment, with opportunity for extension. Established in 1977, the Fenway Alliance serves 22 major cultural and academic institutions in the Fenway, and the surrounding community.

Qualifications:
In this internship you will:

— Assist Co-Executive Directors in organizing events celebrating the vibrant community in the Fenway

— Design outward facing company documents and graphics for donors, sponsors, and partners

— Aid in administrative tasks such as organizing digital files, data entry, general clerical work

— Draft & update Alliance social media including Instagram & Facebook

— Correspond with area cultural institutions and universities regularly in efforts to develop partnerships and programming
