MASARY Studios seeks a sharp, curious, and strategically minded intern to support our “Forward Guard” initiatives—where creative opportunity meets business strategy. If you’re interested in how creative studios grow, secure funding, and position themselves in a competitive landscape, this role will give you an inside look at the mechanics of creative business operations.
Leveraging the tools used by MASARY to identify strategic alignments and funding prospects, the intern will build practical experience analyzing industry landscapes, tracking growth opportunities, and developing strategic insights that support the long-term success of a creative studio.
This is a temporary, part-time internship (10 hours/week for three months, May – July 2025). The hired intern will work closely with the Senior Creative Producer & Business Strategist, Nicholas Medvescek, and gain direct experience in creative business development.

- Maintain internal records related to the studio’s strategic initiatives, past applications, and funding prospects.
- Assist in organizing creative intelligence and key takeaways that help shape the studio’s long-term planning.
- Stay up to date on the media arts ecosystem, researching organizations, funders, and curators shaping the field.
Terms and Compensation
Duration: 10hrs/week for 10-12 weeks, beginning in May or June. Schedule is to be determined together during the hiring process.
Compensation: Compensation may be provided as a monthly stipend or school credit (if applicable), to be discussed during the interview process.
