INTERNSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Interactive Internship – constantly working with peers of all different backgrounds
-May be good for students interested in wood working, sculpture, weaving, paper crafting, and using natural materials.
-You will have experience and exposure to a creative learning environment interacting with adults of all abilities of different skill levels, personalities and ages.
-You will help to maintain workflow of the shop; assist with shop needs, such as interacting with customers, clients, helping meet needs of the company.
– Follow caning company policy/expectations
-You will help to accomplish daily assigned tasks such as working on chairs
-You can expect to be working on chairs to develop skills and learn base chair caning techniques, helping with customer chairs to decrease inventory.
-You will learn basic shop business and customer service skills.
