General Summary
The Brand Management & Partnerships Intern will gain valuable experience in developing extensions of entertainment IP and sourcing and managing external marketing, licensing, and distribution partnerships. The Brand Management & Partnerships Intern will assist the Brand Management & Partnerships team to coordinate various projects and strategic initiatives, including consumer product development & licensing; e-commerce; live events; promotional collaborations; theatrical, digital, and broadcast distribution; and new business development.
Job Functions
- Build relationships and interface with other teams in the Marketing, Operations, Development and Production teams on tasks related to implementation of strategic projects.
- Ensure that assigned tasks are completed on time and at a high-quality level.
- Assist with documentation related to process improvement projects.
- Perform competitor and market research, and prepare internal memos to support new initiatives.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior in college, or graduated within the last 12 months, with a focus in Business, Communications, or Marketing.
- A passion for and consumer knowledge of filmed entertainment, preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency with creating presentations with platforms such as Keynote and/or PowerPoint.
- Ability to collaborate and engage with others in a courteous manner.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
- Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple responsibilities.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
