Coronavirus (Covid-19) Update

Updates from President Kurt T. Steinberg

Montserrat College of Art is fully committed to protecting our students. faculty, staff and visitors as the Coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak unfolds.

With new cases reported each day, Montserrat, like many businesses and cultural institutions across the globe, remains open while concurrently preparing for potential operational disruptions.

In addition to sharing best safety practices with our community we have added hand-sanitizing dispensers, and implemented a more frequent cleaning regimen of our facilities. We are weighing the future of our public events in an effort to keep everyone connected to the college healthy and safe.

Our students are on spring break as of March 13 giving the college time to do deeper cleaning and decide next steps. More information will be coming soon.

Montserrat recognizes that the Covid-19 outbreak is a serious situation that requires constant monitoring. We remain committed to safeguarding our students, faculty, staff, and visitors during the weeks and months ahead and will provide updates as they occur.  For additional questions please contact us at: COVID-19@montserrat.edu
