Videographer/Photographer – Summer 2025
Department: College Relations/Communications
Reports to: Sarina Green, Creative Director
Status: Up to 10 hours per week. Summer 2025, with the possibility of extension through the following semesters.
Salary range: $15/hr
Summary: The Videographer/Photographer works with the College Relations/Communications Team and will capture and edit video footage and photos for platforms including social media, the college website, digital marketing campaigns, and more.
Responsibilities:
- recording video and photos at campus events as requested
- willingness to interview and record brief dialogue from people at activities
- capturing general student/campus day-in-the-life interviews/videos/photos
- editing footage to create short videos and reels
- editing photos; tagging and organizing in the drive
- uploading photos/video to the appropriate storage drive promptly (typically within 24-48 hours of the event)
- Must have your own access to equipment (camera, software, etc.)
Requirements:
- Recommendation from Ron DiRito or Joe Saunders
- Understanding of introductory videography/photography principles and editing platforms
- Knowledgeable in the use of technical equipment and supplies
- Access to photo/video equipment
- Strong storytelling and communication skills

- Takes ownership of work duties and responsibilities, and ensures they are completed accurately and on time.
Working Conditions/Physical Demands: Work in both a studio and mobile setting, manual dexterity to use computers and standard office equipment, strength to lift and carry video equipment, supplies and other materials up to 35 lbs; physical ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.
