Photographer/Videographer – Fall 2024

Department: College Relations/Communications

Reports to: Sarina Green, Creative Director

Status: Up to 10 hours per week. Fall semester, with the possibility of extension through Spring Semester.

Salary range: $15/hr

Summary: The Photographer/Videographer works with the Communications Team and captures content for print and digital use by Montserrat administrative departments including Admissions, Public Relations, and Development.


  • attending and photographing campus events as requested
  • capturing general student/campus day-in-the-life images
  • executing planned shoot lists
  • editing photos; tagging and organizing in the drive
  • uploading photos to the appropriate storage drive promptly (typically within 24-48 hours of the event)
  • Must have your own access to equipment (camera, software, etc.)


  • Recommendation from Ron DiRito or Joe Saunders
  • Understanding of introductory video/photography principles and editing
  • Knowledgeable in the use of technical equipment and supplies
  • Access to photography/video equipment
  • Strong storytelling and communication skills

Working Conditions/Physical Demands: Work in both a studio and mobile setting, manual dexterity to use computers and standard office equipment, strength to lift and carry video equipment, supplies and other materials up to 35 lbs; physical ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.
