Education Assistant

Department: Beverly Community Access Media (BevCam) (External off campus)

Salary range: $15.00

Hours Needed Per Week: 10–15

Expected Duration of Job: Spring–Summer

Summary Statement: Creative, front-facing internship with Beverly Community Access Media. Represent BevCam at the front desk, interact with community members, assist in productions, and teach and create content!

Responsibilities and Tasks:

  •  Provide front desk support: Answer phones, greet and support members and walk-ins.
  • Support staff with productions and events.
  • Learn proper camera and equipment use and provide basic training to community members.
  • Teach workshops in your discipline (animation, graphic design, etc.) with staff guidance and help oversee creative projects.
  • Promote BevCam and highlight Beverly events by creating content within your discipline for our channels and social media.

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Takes ownership of work duties and responsibilities, and ensures they are completed accurately and on time.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands: 

Be able to be on your feet for a few hours—ability to sit for a few hours at a time.
