Where Creativity Works for Prof. Charles Boyer
“Each student has a unique face, a unique fingerprint, a unique way of mark making on the page, and a unique voice. It’s my job in writing classes to help students to develop that unique way of looking at the world, on the written page.” – Charles Boyer, Liberal Arts Professor

A fiction writer and poet, he has published poems and short stories in a number of literary magazines, including The Larcom Review, The New Kent Quarterly, and Spoon River Quarterly. His novel, History’s Child, was winner of the Association of Writers and Writing Programs (AWP) Novel Award for 2014, and will be published by New Issues Press in January, 2016.
