We are going back to Santa Fe!

June 21, 2024

Trip dates: October 25-30, 2024

After the enormous success of Montserrat’s art patrons trip last year, President Brian Pellinen, who began his teaching career in New Mexico more than 25 years ago, will be taking another group this year.

Santa Fe has long been known for its deep art history and its convergence of diverse peoples, bringing together “Norteño”, Indigenous, and early American Western cultures. It is known as one of the world’s best cities for galleries and museums, creating many choices for visitors.

The trip’s itinerary includes visits to the Georgia O’Keefe Museum, the New Mexico History Museum, and behind-the-scenes visits at local galleries. It is highlighted by an inspirational tour of Ghost Ranch and group dinners at a variety of the area’s best restaurants.

”It was an extraordinary trip – combining a beautiful destination with art, delicious food, and wonderful camaraderie. The itinerary was superb with outstanding tours and just the right amount of planned and flexible time. I felt such a warmth from all who were there – we formed a very special bond that does not happen on most group trips. (I can say that as I was in the travel business for 13 years.) Everyone was at ease sharing their thoughts and experiences with each other. It was truly a magical trip.”

A portion of each payment made for this trip will count as a donation to Montserrat’s Student Travel Fund, providing life-changing cultural learning experiences for Montserrat students.

“I love that I get to share my earlier creative and educational life with my new Montserrat friends. There is something very New Mexican about doing that.”
