[space] Touchy Feely Exhibit

April 29, 2013

Touchy Feely

Touchy Feely is an exhibition focused on tactile interactions with artwork. Viewers are generally frowned upon having a relation to the work that is based on touch; often one would be escorted out of an art space for touching the pieces present. This exhibition does away with such traditions by challenging artists to create work that is both rooted in aesthetics and made to be tangibly interacted with by the viewing audience.

On Thursday, May 2, 5 – 9 pm, will open its doors to the public in conjunction with Beverly’s First Thursdays to present this exciting exhibition. is located at 58 Cabot St. Apt. #5 Beverly, MA. For more information contact [email protected].

Touchy Feely is a juried show, and as such the jury will be making the final selection of accepted pieces. The jurors are:

  • Maggie Cavallo, Asst. Curator of Education at Montserrat College of Art
  • Martha Buskirk, Author of Creative Enterprise and Professor at Montserrat College of Art
