Senior Photography Student Liz Loyte’s Photo Shoot on ABC

Liz Loyte ’12 did her internship this summer with Conor Doherty, a fashion photographer working in Boston and New York City. One of her projects involved working on a fall fashion shoot at Elevin Studios for StyleBoston, which  was broadcast on WCVB-TV, Channel 5 Boston, Saturday, Sept. 10 and Sunday, Sept. 11.

“Stylists from Contra pulled clothing and accessories from different designers’ fall collections where they noticed a very dark and dramatic ‘witchy’ or wiccan theme, and they really played it up based on that,” said Liz. “It wasn’t strictly ‘fall fashion trends,’ but more of one specific trend/theme…basically I’d sum it up as a dark and dramatic editorial inspired by the spells, power, and magic of the unknown.”
