Illustration II Senior Thesis Exhibition (2): Loosen Up

The second Senior Thesis Exhibition this spring is Loosen Up. The exhibit will be on display from March 25 – 29, with a reception Wednesday, March 27, 5 – 8 pm at 301 Gallery, 301 Cabot St., Beverly.

Loosen Up features work by Ellen Topitzer (Longmeadow, MA), Megan Hermey (Flemington, NJ), Becky Longlois (Dover, NH), Brittany Handiboe (Glen Burnie, MD), Jordan Walsh (Washington, CT), Dana Robinson (Stonington, CT) and Taylor McNeil (Syracuse, NY). The show is second of a series of weekly group exhibits by graduating seniors.

Brittany Handiboe uses color, movement and line to create fantastic narratives. Megan Hermey communicates ideas about science, space and culture with their editorial work. Ellen Topitzer’s fanciful works tell enchanting stories. Dana Robinson’s works tries to capture the dreamy, surreal, qualities of waking and sleeping life. Jordan Walsh’s fun and satirical works activate the page with flat color and detail. Taylor McNeil illustrates narratives in intricate vignettes. Becky Longlois breaks borders with her mythological-inspires imagery in a series of inventive vignettes.
