Outdoor Sculpture Opportunity- Corigin Real Estate Group

Montserrat College of Art is assisting Corigin Real Estate Group (https://www.corigin.com) seek, accept and select a final proposal for an outdoor sculpture to welcome residents into a shared “Clubhouse” space at The Enclave at Mansfield, MA. The piece should be abstract or non-representational and should be constructed to last many years with minimal maintenance. Montserrat College of Art sculpture faculty will assist in evaluating proposals and choose the work of the winning artist who will have a maximum budget of $20,000 to $25,000 to create the work, including the artist’s fee.

Phase 1: Portfolios of related work will be gathered and reviewed by the jury
Phase 2: Finalists will be selected and given a $500 stipend to develop a proposal
Phase 3: The winner will be selected and complete the artwork with a maximum budget of $20,000-$25,000, including artist’s fee

Please include a resumé or CV, a portfolio of 10-15 images of related artwork, and a very brief statement about your approach to outdoor sculpture.

Call for portfolio posted: Aug. 16

Call for portfolios closes Sept. 15

Notify semi-finalists: Sept. 30

Finalists proposal due: Oct. 30

Notify winner: Nov.14

Install: Spring 2022 TBD
