Olivia Parker Inducted into Photography Hall of Fame

Congratulations to Montserrat Council Member Olivia Parker, who was recently inducted into the International Photography Hall of Fame. Every year, the St. Louis-based International Photography Hall of Fame and Museum honors those who have made a notable contribution to the field of photography. This November, they recognized Olivia Parker and seven other inductees for their lifelong artistic achievement. Olivia’s work will now be included in a pemanent tribute to the Hall of Fame Inductees that stands alongside rotating exhibitions in the museum’s 6,000-square foot gallery space.

Parker’s most recent exhibition, a retorspective entitled Order of Imagination: The Photographs of Olivia Parker recently concluded at the Peabody Essex Museum. However the exhibition catalog is still available, for those who would like to see the stunning work for which Parker has been recognized. She is also a former trustee of the college, and a resident of the North Shore.
