Margaurita Spear Update
For the second year in a row, alumna Margaurita Spear ’09 has submitted work to Lowell’s Brush Gallery’s FOUR BY FOUR FOR EDUCATION for their scholarship fundraiser, Saturday, March 2, 2 – 4 pm, where over 150 little 4″ x 4″ inch pieces of original art will be sold. Spear is also helping the Danvers Dog Park in an art auction event that she originally suggested to them.

During February vacation week, Spear taught a workshop, Bring On the Bling, (Feb. 21) to coincide with the current exhibit, Spingle Spangle: The Sequin, at the Wenham Museum, 132 Main Street, Wenham, MA. wenhammuseum.org/special_events
This workshop was geared to students ages 6 & up. Using decoupage, pre-fab boxes, sequins and glitter, participants created a personalized, fun trinket box.
