Maggie Cavallo is the Assistant Curator of Education for the Gallery & Visiting Artist Program at Montserrat College of Art. She received her BS in Media, Society & the Arts from SUNY Purchase College, where she completed the thesis From Princely Collections to a Public Good: Revisioning Public Art Museums and their Audiences. Maggie has completed coursework in Museum Education at Tufts University and has worked with the Neuberger Museum of Art, Institute of Contemporary Art at Boston, the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and various other established and emerging organizations. Most recently she has organized HOLY GHOST, a month dedicated to performance art and art intervention in Montserrat’s 301 Gallery and curated the exhibition In Progress, recent paintings and drawings by Karl Stevens in the Carol Schlosberg Alumni Gallery.
