Jo Broderick Honored by Greater Beverly Chamber of Commerce
Congratulations to Montserrat Dean of College Relations, Jo Broderick for receiving the Leslie S. Ray Hall
of Fame Award from the Greater Beverly Chamber of Commerce. Jo has been working at Montserrat for
over 30 years, serving as a caring and dedicated member of both the college community and the Beverly
community as a whole.
The Leslie S. Ray Hall of Fame Award is passed down each year to a member of the Chamber of
Commerce whose work and lifelong leadership has made a significant difference within the Greater
Beverly Chamber of Commerce. Jo has served in the past as a president of the GBCC, as well as Beverly
Main Streets and Beverly Rotary. Her work across these organizations and within the college has made
her an indispensable member of the local community.
Jo—both as Dean of College Relations and as Special Assistant to the President—has been crucial in
sculpting the image of Montserrat. Her role as a public representative for the college, along with her
other work outside of it, has made her a pillar in this community. She serves as both an important
advocate for the college and a powerful representation of the sort of people that the Montserrat
attracts to both the classroom and the staff room. We are proud to congratulate her receipt of this well-
deserved acknowledgment for a lifetime of hard work.
Jo and many others will be receiving their awards at GBCC Business Awards Dinner on February 6th.
Tickets and more information are available at the Chamber of Commerce Website.
