Founding Faculty Ray Pisano Artist Talk

You are invited to a presentation on the making of large-scale sculpture by Founding Faculty Member Reno “Ray” Pisano Monday, April, 22 from 6:30 – 9 pm at the Beverly Public Library Sohier Room, 32 Essex Street, Beverly.

Ray will discuss the methods of how marble and granite models are made, enlarged and copied. Pisano will also elaborate on how the Lincoln Memorial was created from an original 5 foot model, enlarged to become a 19 foot sculpture and transported from New York to Washington D.C. in 22 separate pieces.
