Faculty News: Sarah Hulsey Exhibits Diagraphia At Gallery 263

Montserrat College of Art’s Book Arts, Graphic Design & Printmaking Faculty Member Sarah Hulsey has a solo show, Diagraphia, which at Gallery 263, 263 Pearl Street in Cambridge. There will be an artist’s talk on Saturday, April 9 at 3 pm. Learn more at gallery263.com

This Curatorial Proposal Series Exhibition presents an inventive approach to visualizing language in woodcuts and letterpress prints.

Sarah Hulsey holds an MFA in Book Arts/Printmaking from the University of the Arts (2013), a PhD in Linguistics from MIT (2008), and a bachelor’s degree magna cum laude in Linguistics from Harvard (2001). Her art work focuses on visual representations of complex systems, including language, making use of her Linguistics background in both the workings of language and systematic investigation of its properties.
